Wind Farm proposal: Public exhibitions

Three exhibitions will be held as follows:

  • Friday, September 7 Uttoxeter Town Hall, High Street, Uttoxeter, 11am-4pm
  • Monday, September 10 Marchington Woodlands Village Hall, Tinkers Lane, 2pm-8pm
  • Tuesday, September 11 Abbots Bromley Village Hall, off Bagot Street, 2pm-8pm

Everyone is welcome to attend, at any time that is convenient.

Your opportunity for a reservoir walk

You are invited to join the Abbots Bromley Footpath Society when they take a walk around parts of the Blithfield Reservoir.

The circular walk will depart from the Butter Cross at 6:30pm and arrive back there by around 9pm.

Those wanting to join the walk, should be aware that there are several stiles on the route and that the distance will be 4 to 5 miles.

2007 Best Kept Village place

Abbots Bromley enters the Stafford Best Kept Village competition in the “large village” category for East Staffordshire. Within this group, Abbots Bromley has won third place in 2007.

For a number of reasons that will be obvious to residents, there was no expectation of winning this year – but the third place is appropriate recognition of the hard work put in by many households and businesses along the main street with their displays of window boxes and hanging baskets.
