Walks leaflets updated

There are a number of downloadable local Abbots Bromley walks leaflets on these pages which each contain a circular walk starting and ending at the Butter Cross.

From time to time these are updated with information supplied by the Abbots Bromley Footpath Society. Typically this will be with minor revisions such as the replacement of stiles with kissing gates or other changes that affect the route directions.

Neighbourhood Watch: Catalytic converter thefts warning

Converters are being stolen from underneath vehicles overnight due to their current high scrap metal value. The majority of vehicles targeted are larger vehicles, such as vans and 4x4s possibly due to them having higher ground clearance & ease of access. A tell-tale sign of a stolen converter is a louder than usual exhaust noise.

Please warn your neighbours and advise them to store vehicles in a secure garage where possible. If anybody can offer any information please contact the police on 101 or crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
