Post Election opportunity

Following the election on Thursday 7th May, the six new Parish Councillors will have an opoprtunity to co-opt willing members of the public to serve on the new Council.

Anyone who thinks that they might be able and willing to serve in this way can contact the Parish Clerk to make her aware of their interest.

The principal qualifications for you to become a Parish Councilor are:
– over 18 and a British or Europena citizen
– lived or worked in the parish for at least 12 months
– you are not an undischarged bankrupt
– been convicted of an imprisonable offence in the last 5 years

2015 Parish Assembly

The formal business will commence at 6.30pm, tea and coffee will be available from 6.00pm and the councillors will be present if you would like to discuss any issues with them informally beforehand. There will also be information to view on the plans and progress with the Lichfield Road sports field.
