Abbots Bromley – Best Kept Village winner for 2014

Published 27 September 2014

Abbots Bromley is one of the few villages in the county that has consistently participated in the Best Kept Village competition for the fifty-plus years it has been running.

Over the years Abbots Bromley has been a winner on many occasions and various trees around the village, including the Red Oak and Western Red Cedar on the village green, commemorate these successes.

In 2014 Abbots Bromley achieved the honour of Best Kept Large Village in East Staffordshire but the overall prize of Best Kept Village in the area eluded us.

A big “thank you” to all those who contributed to the win by their consistent efforts to keep the village clean and tidy.
