Closure of B5014 between Abbots Bromley and Blithbury

Staffordshire County Council is proposing to replace Blithford Flood Bridge No. 2 Culvert on the B5014 Uttoxeter Road, Nr. Blithbury. The works are planned to commence on 9th July 2007 and are expected to take 12 weeks to complete.

Unfortunately, it will be necessary for the B5014 to be closed to vehicles, at the culvert, for seven weeks from 16th July to 31st August. A signed diversion route, for the affected traffic, will be provided for the duration of the road closure. Provision will be made to provide through access for pedestrians, cyclists and horses for the duration of the closure.
