Emergency Closure of Mill Green Lane – May 2019

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Staffordshire County Council being the highway authority responsible for the repair and maintenance of Mill Green Lane in Abbots Bromley are satisfied that it is necessary to close to all vehicular traffic that length of Mill Green Lane for the extent between the junctions with the Lichfield Road for a period of 21 days from the date of this Notice because of the likelihood of danger to the public during urgent utilty works being undertaken by South Staffordshire Water.

Access will be available for pedestrians and for vehicles being used in connection with the works and for vehicles requiring access to premises on the length of road which is closed.

Access for emergency services vehicles will be available via the alternative route. An alternative route for traffic is available via Mill Green Lane, Lichfield Road and vice versa.

IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE CLOSURE WILL BE IN PLACE BETWEEN 14:00hrs on13th May 2019 AND 17:00hrs on 17th May 2019.

The restriction may if necessary be extended for one further period of up to 21 days by the publication of a second Notice.
