Goose Lane closure – February/March 2016

NOTICE is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length of Goose Lane, Abbots Bromley between its junctions with Lintake Drive and St.Nicholas Way unless the vehicle is being used in connection with the works; or unless the vehicle requires access to premises on the length of road or is being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

The preferred alternative route for traffic will be available via Goose Lane, St.Nicholas Way, Miresbrook Lane, Bagot Street, Goose Lane and vice versa.

The Order will come into operation on 29th February 2016 at 8am, and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 11th March 2016 at 5pm.
