The Bagot Arms Indoor Picnic, Abbots Bromley

Published 13 April 2013

Indoor picnic at Bagot Arms We packed the local pub and our thanks go to Lisa & Dave for giving us the opportunity to “take over” and turn the pub into a country picnic. Everyone received a picnic basket filled to overflow with sausage rolls, pork pie, sandwiches, chicken, wraps, cheese slices – I could go on!

Finishing with trifle and cream cakes of all and every variety.
All washed down with lashings of ginger beer, cloudy lemonade and the old favourite dandelion and burdock (although some of us did have a pint!)

A calorie count was not a good idea!

We had 15 raffle prizes and 3 auctions as part of the evening too.

People gave very generously and we raised a total of £818 on the night.

A massive thank you to all those people who gave so generously towards the evening with donations of prizes and foods for the hamper and also to those who helped in the
background to the make the event as good as it was. Thank you!!
