NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE OF COUNCILLOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 87 (2) of the Local Government Act, 1972 that a vacancy has arisen in the office of Councillor for the said Parish.

Unless notice in writing of a request for an election to fill the vacancy, signed by ten electors for the said Parish, is received by the Chief Executive of the East Staffordshire Borough Council, Town Hall, Burton upon Trent, DE14 2EB by not later than the twenty-ninth day of January 2008, the vacancy shall be filled by the Parish within sixty days of the date of this Notice.
